EUROCAE Open Consultation ED-333

We are pleased to announce the availability of the following draft EUROCAE document prepared by EUROCAE WG-112 SG-1 “Electrical” for Open Consultation:

Draft ED-333 “Technical Standard on Rechargeable Lithium Batteries in eVTOL applications”

Current battery aviation standards were not written specific to eVTOL applications. In addition, some of these are not written to deal with specific application to much larger battery packs and on electric aircraft. This task will aim to align where possible with the existing standards (e.g. RTCA DO-311A) and modify the standards where they are not possible or unnecessarily strict.
posted on the EUROCAE workspace.

You are invited to review the proposed draft and complete the comment form. Early replies are encouraged.
