New Publication: ED-350 "MASPS for AAM Aircraft Recording Systems"

We are pleased to announce the publication of ED-350 “MASPS for AAM Aircraft Recording Systems”.

The primary scope of WG-118 “Crash-Protected and Lightweight Flight Recorders” is to maintain and enhance standards for airborne flight recorders mandated by operational regulations and ICAO Annex 6, supporting the collection of data for accident investigation and prevention.

ED-350 provides Minimum Aviation System Performance Standards (MASPS) for end-to-end recording systems in Advanced Air Mobility (AAM) operations. It establishes performance standards for recording onboard aircraft data, command and control (C2) link information, and control station data across a range of AAM operational concepts.

Congratulations to the experts of WG-118 SG-2 “Recording Systems for AAM” chaired by Mark Ford (Air Accidents Investigation Branch), for their excellent work and dedication!
