Draft ED-102B “MOPS for 1090 MHz Extended Squitter ADS-B and TIS-B”
Minimum Operational Performance Standard (MOPS) for the 1090 MHz Extended Squitter ADS-B and TIS-B Datalink. NOTE FROM THE WG-51/SG-1: MANAGEMENT FOR OPEN CONSULTATION (OC): Please note that the OC version of ED-102B contains ADS-B Wx PIREP requirements and test procedures in Appendix Y. This organizational structure is for OC only. The ADS-Wx PIREP requirements and test procedures currently in Appendix Y will be incorporated into the appropriate main body sections of the MOPS if concurred with through the OC process. This applies only to Appendix Y; Appendix W will remain an appendix providing ADS-Wx PIREP support material if concurred with through the OC process. Please keep this in mind as you make decisions on your review of the OC version of the MOPS.
