New Publication: ED-84B "Aircraft Lightning Environment and Related Test Waveforms

We are pleased to announce the publication of ED-84B “Aircraft Lightning Environment and Related Test Waveforms”.

The waveforms provided in this ED are considered to be adequate for the demonstration of compliance for the protection of an aircraft and its systems against the lightning environment and should be applied in accordance with the aircraft lightning strike zones (see ED-91) and test methods (see ED-105), and applicable EASA and FAA advisory and interpretive material.

We would like to thank all WG-31 members who were involved in the development of this standard!
