EUROCAE is launching this Call for Participation to inform interested parties about the a new activity and to provide a possibility to nominate participants.
EUROCAE WG-51/SG-3 will work on the following deliverable:
ED-195B “SPR Document for Airborne Spacing – Flight Deck Interval Management (FIM)”
Background
One part of the EUROCAE WG-51 activities is concerned with the development of ‘ADS-B In’ application and system standard material. This is performed within Sub-group 3 (SG-3) of WG-51, jointly with Working Group 4 RTCA SC-186.
ED-195B is the “SPR Document for Airborne Spacing – Flight Deck Interval Management (FIM)”. The Safety and Performance Requirements define and allocate the set of minimum requirements for the end-to-end operational, safety, performance, and interoperability aspects for implementations of an initial set of IM Operations. The requirements and their initial application are also expected to form the basis for all future ASPA-FIM implementations.
The revisions in ED-195B/DO-328B will support the final scope of the Advanced Flight Interval Management (FIM) MOPS in ED-236A/DO-361A.
As ED-195 is a joint development, EUROCAE and RTCA also will develop the revision in a joint manner.
The respective activity has been approved by the EUROCAE TAC (Technical Advisory Committee) on 29 August 2018.
