We are pleased to announce the availability of the following draft EUROCAE document prepared by EUROCAE WG-105 SG-33 “UTM Geo-Fencing” for Open Consultation:

Draft ED-270 “Minimum Operational Performance Specification for UAS geo-caging”

This document contains Minimum Operational Performance Standards for the Geocaging function of Unmanned Aircraft Systems. This standard specifies the minimum performance expected from this Geocaging function, without prescribing its design and implementation as far as possible. Compliance with this standard is recommended as one means of assuring that the Function will perform its intended sub-functions satisfactorily under all conditions normally encountered in routine aeronautical operation and will comply with applicable regulations.
