Draft ED-268 “Development Assurance Objectives for Aerospace Vehicles and Systems”
The purpose of this document is to provide a minimum set of development assurance objectives to ensure safety for aircraft and system development. This document provides a basis to:
• Assess the acceptability of processes for aircraft and/or system development where experience has already demonstrated their effectiveness.
• Apply emerging technologies where existing techniques are not effective and alternate strategies are not documented in industry guidance.
Work carried out jointly with SAE S-18.
