EUROCAE Open Consultation ED-103B

We are pleased to announce the availability of the following draft EUROCAE document prepared by EUROCAE WG-95 “In-flight ice detection systems” for Open Consultation:

Draft ED-103B “Minimum Operational Performance Standard for In-Flight Icing Detection Systems”

This MOPS specifies FIDS Operational Performance which is the minimum necessary to satisfy regulatory requirements for the design and manufacture of the equipment to a minimum standard and guidance towards acceptable means of compliance when installed on an aircraft. Revision of ED-103A to correct identified editorial and technical errors and add some clarifications to the document.
