We are pleased to announce the publication of ED-92C “Minimum Operational Performance Standard (MOPS) for an Airborne VDL Mode-2 System Operating in the Frequency Range 118-136.975 MHz”.
This document contains the Minimum Operational Performance Specifications (MOPS) and test procedures for aircraft Very High Frequency (VHF) Digital Link (VDL) Mode 2 physical, link and network layer protocol components which comprise an avionics transmitter/receiver (transceiver) function intended to be used for air-ground (A/G) data communication.
