We are pleased to announce the availability of the following draft EUROCAE document prepared by EUROCAE WG-119 “Radar Altimeters” for Open Consultation:

Draft ED-310 “Standard Guidance Document on Radar Altimeter RF Interference Rejection and Tolerance”

This interim document is developed in order to provide guidance to radar altimeter designers and manufacturers, aircraft manufacturers and system integrators, and others involved in the modification and development of radar altimeters for RF interference robustness on the current state-of-the-art Aircraft- Level RF Interference Rejection and Tolerance for radar altimeters operating in the 4200–4400 MHz band. This document intends to provide primary background for the MOPS tolerance requirements.
