Terms and Conditions

Terms and Conditions for EUROCAE Trainings

§ 1 Registration and Course Fees:

Standard fees apply as stated at the EUROCAE e-shop.

VAT is charged at standard French rate and as applicable. Fees include refreshments, lunch[1] and course documentation. All bookings are confirmed and binding by completing the registration sheet (typeform). All course fees must be paid by the due date stated on the invoice. EUROCAE reserves the right to reallocate places if full payment has not been received. The fees do not include travel and accommodation costs.

§ 2 Registration cancellations and attendance of Trainings:

Cancellation received in writing up to 14[2] / 5[3] days before the start of the event will be refunded in full; an administrative charge of 10% (+ VAT if relevant) will be deducted or charged. We are unable to refund cancellations received 14 / 5 days or fewer prior to the start of a course. However, if the case arises and at the organiser´s discretion, a place may be offered at a later course. Delegate substitutions may be made at any time, though confirmation of any changes must be received by email or post prior to the start of a course.

If a participant does not attend the full training, there is no right of reimbursement for the unused part. The participation in the seminar is not transferable.

In the event of non-attendance, full course fees will remain payable and no refunds will be made.

§ 3 Changes to Programme or Venue

The content and sequence of the training programme as well as the deployment of the trainers can be changed while maintaining the overall character of the seminar. This entitles the participant neither to withdraw from the contract nor to reduce the invoice amount.

§ 4 Training cancellation

EUROCAE reserves the right to cancel open trainings if there are  too few participants up to 14 / 5 working days before the start of the training. If the training is cancelled due to illness of the trainer, force majeure or other unforeseeable events, there is no claim to the execution of the training. There is no claim to reimbursement of travel and accommodation costs or loss of work. There is no liability for indirect damages, in particular loss of profit or third-party claims.

§ 5 Copyrights

By registering, the training participants commit themselves to the following points: Training-accompanying workbooks or documents etc. are subject to copyright and may not be reproduced photomechanically or electronically at any time and under any circumstances; they are only intended for the personal use of the course participants and may not be passed on to third parties. Lectures, documents, and workshop results may not be recorded, documented or passed on to third parties without written approval by EUROCAE.

§ 6 Liability

The respective training is carefully prepared and conducted according to the current state of knowledge. We assume no liability for advice given and the utilisation of the knowledge acquired. EUROCAE accepts no responsibility for disadvantages arising from the lack of training conditions for the participants.

§ 7 Data privacy

By sending the typeform, the sender agrees to the electronic storage of the data provided. This personal data will be used exclusively for processing and will not be passed on to third parties.

§ 8 Final provisions

All contracts and legal relations between EUROCAE and its customers are subject to French law. Should a provision of these terms and conditions or a regulation within the framework of other agreements be or become invalid, legally valid agreements that come closest to the invalid agreement shall replace the invalid agreement. This shall not affect the validity of all other provisions or agreements. Additional agreements are only valid if they have been agreed in writing.

§ 9 Physical Attendance

Participants are required to comply with the travel and entry requirements and restrictions for France and rules imposed by EUROCAE (see below), prior to making or conducting any travel arrangements.

You further confirm you will comply with any sanitary measures imposed by EUROCAE (see below).

The meeting will be conducted as virtual mode only in case the health authorities of the host location issue guidelines that would preclude face-to-face meetings.

EUROCAE cannot be held responsible for late cancellation on in-person status of the meeting if deemed necessary for covid protection.

EUROCAE recommends consulting the website of French Ministry of Interior prior to your travel: https://www.interieur.gouv.fr/Actualites/L-actu-du-Ministere/Certificate-of-international-travel

Entry requirements for EUROCAE´s premises in Saint Denis:

The access to the EUROCAE premises will only be granted with the “Pass Sanitaire” (health pass).

More information is available under https://www.gouvernement.fr/info-coronavirus/pass-sanitaire (French) and https://www.gouvernement.fr/en/coronavirus-covid-19 (English).

EUROCAE recommends downloading the French “TousAntiCovid app”, which is interoperable with the EU Digital COVID Certificate, and which will include the health pass (allowing entry to EUROCAE premises as well as facilitating activities within Paris (restaurants, …)).

If needed, covid testing is available in most pharmacies in Paris and Saint-Denis (appointments can be booked via https://www.doctolib.fr/depistage-covid-19-antigenique/saint-denis).
