Privacy policy

EUROCAE is concerned about the privacy of our members and subscribers. Personal data no longer required for business purposes may only be kept for a maximum period of 5 years, unless there are specific legal requirements otherwise.

EUROCAE records the least amount of information required to function and provides service to benefit to the development of aviation equipment standards. The information collected amounts at most to contact details, affiliation and professional background when relevant.

1. Members and registered experts from members

Personal details of EUROCAE’s members are used for communication with the organisation or related to EUROCAE activities, other administrative purposes, or to inform the members of products and services they can benefit from. The basis for data processing is legitimate interest.

  • EUROCAE holds the data provided by members upon registration. The scope of these are corporate contact details (names, email, phone, address, affiliation).
  • Members and registered experts can access, request the modification or the removal of their details. This can be done by logging into their personal account or through contacting EUROCAE. For any question, please contact us at: eurocae@eurocae.net.
  • All personal data is securely stored on an automated system. The data is only accessible by the Secretariat, IT support, and the account holder.

2. NEWSblog subscribers

Personal details of EUROCAE’s NEWSblog subscribers are used for communication of EUROCAE Working Group activities or to inform the members of products and services they can benefit from. The basis for data processing is consent.

  • The scope of the data is the name and email.

3. E-shop

Personal details of e-shop subscribers are used for communication of related invoices and to provide the services requested. The basis for data processing is legal requirements and/or contract.
