Published in January 2024, ED-318 “Technical Specification for Geographical Zones And U-Space Data Provision and Exchange” defines technical specifications covering data format, data requirements and data exchange. ED-318 supersedes Chapter 8 ‘UAS Geographical Zone Data Model’, Chapter 9 ‘Geofencing Information Service Interface’ and Appendix 2 ‘Information Definition and Data Structures’ of ED-269 “Minimum Operational Performance Standard for Geofencing”, published in May 2020.”
