New Publication: ED-271A "MASPS For Detect And Avoid Traffic For Remotely Piloted Aircraft Systems In Airspace Classes A-G Under IFR

We are pleased to announce the publication of ED-271A “MASPS For Detect And Avoid Traffic For Remotely Piloted Aircraft Systems In Airspace Classes A-G Under IFR”.

This document functions as a MASPS for the Detect & Avoid [Traffic] system (DAA) for Remotely Piloted Aircraft Systems (RPAS) operating in certified category in class A to G airspaces under Instrument Flight Rules (IFR). This revision expands on the original ED-271 (May 2022), which covered operations in airspace Classes A-C, to now include all airspace Classes A-G.

A huge thank you to all the members of WG-105 Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS) Sub-Group 1 who contributed to the development of this important standard!
