ED-236A “MOPS for Flight-Deck Interval Management (FIM)“
EUROCAE is launching this Call for Participation to inform interested parties about the a new activity and to provide a possibility to nominate participants.
EUROCAE WG-51/SG-3 will work on the following deliverable:
ED-236A “MOPS for Flight-Deck Interval Management (FIM)”
Background
One part of the EUROCAE WG-51 activities is concerned with the development of ‘ADS-B In’ application and system standard material. This is performed within Sub-group 3 (SG-3) of WG-51, jointly with Working Group 4 RTCA SC-186.
ED-236/DO-361 is the “MOPS for Flight-Deck Interval Management (FIM)”. These MOPS will provide all system level requirements for the FIM application, including display requirements and algorithm performance and be tightly aligned with the ASA System platform as specified in ED-194/DO-317.
The revisions in ED-236A/DO-361A will will contain modifications required for follow-on capabilities compared to the initial FIM MOPS.
As ED-236 is a joint development, EUROCAE and RTCA also will develop the revision in a joint manner.
The respective activity has been approved by the EUROCAE TAC (Technical Advisory Committee) on 29 August 2018.
