Aircraft Lightning Zoning Workshop

This week, EUROCAE is proud to host the Aircraft Lightning Zoning Workshop at our Paris Headquarters.

The programme features expert-led presentations and in-depth discussions on lightning zoning methodologies, simulation-based approaches, the unique challenges posed by eVTOLs, and proposals to update existing processes. All these efforts are aimed at enhancing the classification and protection of aircraft structures.

This workshop marks a significant step forward in supporting the work of EUROCAE Working Groups, reinforcing our commitment to standardisation and to helping the aviation industry address emerging technological challenges.

A sincere thank you to all participants, and especially to the organising committee: Johan Meuzelaar, Simeon Earl, Sébastien Lallechère, and WG-31 Chair Christelle Kutyla.
