We are pleased to announce the availability of the following draft EUROCAE documents prepared by EUROCAE WG-105 SG-3 – Unmanned Aircraft Systems – UAS Traffic Management:
- ED-339A – “NID Data Exchange ICD for indirect exchanges between USSPs and between USSPs and Authorised Users“
The document is a revision of ED-339, developed within WG-105 SG-3 – UTM. It addresses errors identified following the publication of the original document and aims to correct these issues to improve the accuracy and consistency of the Network Identification Data Exchange Interface Control Document (ICD). The revision also includes a change to the HTTP status code, replacing 403 (Forbidden) with 409 (Conflict) to more accurately reflect situations where a volume is contained within another volume.
By refining the existing specifications for indirect data exchanges between U-space Service Providers (USSPs), and between USSPs and Authorised Users, ED-339A supports clearer and more consistent implementation of network identification data exchanges. The document has concluded Peer Review and received working group approval, with further details on the corrections available in the Open Consultation complementary documents or from the EUROCAE Technical Programme Manager responsible for the project.
