We are pleased to announce the publication of ED-107B “Guide to Certification of Aircraft in a High-Intensity Radiated Field (HIRF) Environment”.
The primary scope of WG-31 is to prepare technical standards, specifications, guides and any other material required to support the development of regulation and the certification of aircraft in relation to Electromagnetic hazards such as lightning protection, electromagnetic compatibility (EMC), High Intensity Radiated Fields (HIRF) etc.
ED-107B supersedes ED-107A (July 2010). The document has been updated to ensure consistent approaches to aircraft and integrated system HIRF tests. Revisions were incorporated to align with the AC 20-158/AMC 20-158, ED-158/ARP5415, ED-248/ARP60493, ED-14/DO-160, CATA paper TCCA-001, obsolescence, test methods, editorial updates, and lessons learned.
