The minimum performance requirements specified herein are designed to ensure that aircraft equipment certificated to them will be compatible with the relevant ICAO Standards and Recommended Practices. Additionally, environmental test requirements have been specified in respect of those parameters which experience has shown to be susceptible to the efects of, for example, temperature, humidity, vibration and supply voltage variation.
