ED-53A supersedes ED-53 “MOPR for Microwave Landing System (MLS) (ground equipment)”, issued in March 1983.
This document sets the Minimum Operational Performance Requirements for Microwave Landing System (MLS).
It takes into account on one hand the amendments of ICAO Annex 10 and on the other hand the experience resulting from the various testing campaigns achieved in Europe.
