EUROCAE visit to Washington DC

In June, EUROCAE Director General Anna von Groote visited Washington DC, to meet with our international partners such as the FAA, the EASA representative to the United States, as well as partner organisation ASTM International, to discuss current priorities and opportunities for cooperation.

This week marked also the celebration of RTCA’s 90th anniversary, an occasion to recognise our more than 60-year lasting partnership with RTCA, to develop high-quality, globally recognised aviation standards and to show the strong bond between EUROCAE, RTCA as well as with SAE International.

Today, 50% of our standardisation work programme is carried out jointly with RTCA and another 10% with SAE, resulting in technically equivalent standards – these international collaborations are essential pillars for global interoperability and international harmonisation.
