Draft ED-265 “Minimum Operational Performance Standard for RPAS Command and Control Data Link (C-Band Satellite)”

Minimum Operational Performance Standard for RPAS Command and Control Data Link (C-Band Satellite) makes primary focus on near-geosynchronous (GEO) orbit systems operating in the 5030-5091 MHz frequency band under AMS(R)S allocation. A secondary focus for this MOPS are bent-pipe systems using High Altitude Platform Systems (HAPS) operating in the 5030-5091 MHz frequency band under an AM(R)S allocation. The specifications included in this document are primarily targeted at the User Terminal operating onboard the UA. Inclusion of other system elements such as Ground Satellite Gateway and Satellite Payload are only included for illustration purposes in this document and are intended as non-normative.
