We are pleased to announce the publication of ED-194B Ch. 1 ‘Minimum Operational Performance Standards (MOPS) for Aircraft Surveillance Applications – Change 1’.
ED-194B contains requirements for processing, control and display of traffic and Ownship information for use by the flight crew in performing airborne applications. This document contains the following modifications:
– Identified problems with TIS-B test vectors for the surveillance processing test procedures.
– Updated to include CAVS requirements to align with FAA TSO-C195c.
– Editorial changes as identified in the WG-51 SG-3 Internal Report ‘Summary of Activities and Proposed Changes to ED-194B and ED-236A – Phase 2’.
