ED-339 Integrated Corrigendum 1 consolidates ED-339 “NID Data Exchange ICD for indirect exchanges between USSPs and between USSPs and Authorised Users” (7 February 2026) to include ED-339 Corrigendum 1 (13 February 2026).
ED-339 covers solely the indirect exchange approach to sharing NID data among USSPs and the provision of that data to other Authorised Users. It specifies the interfaces (information data model, messages structure and communication protocols) to be used in such an approach.
The initial motivation for this document is to provide a framework for indirect exchanges in compliance with the European U-space regulation. It is intended to support this paradigm wherever Network Identification (NID) information may need to be shared, including outside U-space airspace or in jurisdictions beyond Europe.
Following ED-339 publication, a mistake was identified by the EUROCAE Secretariat: a requirement number was duplicated, resulting in two different requirements using the same REQ number 012. To answer this inconsistency, a Corrigendum is issued, replacing the duplicated reference with a new sequential number REQ:061.
Additionally minor editorial corrections, including the access to supplementary material and watermark removal have been applied.
