EUROCAE Open Consultation ED-201A

We are pleased to announce the availability of the following draft EUROCAE document prepared by EUROCAE WG-72 SG-4 “Aeronautical Information System Security (AISS) Framework (ED-201A)” for Open Consultation:

Draft ED-201A “Aeronautical Information System Security (AISS) Framework Guidance”

This document provides the framework for linking the various portions of security in aviation together. As the relevant standards are being updated and new ones generated, ED-201 needs to be updated to capture these changes. In addition, EASA is in the process of generating a set of regulations (“horizontal rule”) across all aviation domains to introduce an Information Security Management System and shared risk across organisations. ED-201 has initial guidance on this topic and can be updated to capture outcome of the ESCP discussions to become an AMC.
